Our expertise : breath analysis

Alcohol in breath analysis

The patented breath analysis system developed by Olythe guarantees precise and reliable results comparable to those obtained by law enforcement’s breathalyzers, thanks to a technology of infrared spectroscopy NDIR miniaturized by Olythe.

The exhaled air is sent into a measuring tank traversed by infrared radiation produced by the optical transmitter. Part of the radiation is absorbed by the alcohol present in the tank enabling a precise calculation of the concentration of alcohol in the exhaled air.

Peak Performance Measurements

Our OCIEngine Ethanol sensor passed all the tests and environmental tests corresponding to the standard NF EN 16280.
Realized by the National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing (LNE), the requirement of this standard certifies the quality of manufacture and results of the breathalyzer for consumers.

Mastery of production and manufacturing

All of our sensors are assembled and manufactured entirely in France in our own production unit. This allows us to have total control over our know-how.
